Shortcode Not Working

  • Hi, looking for a simple car listing plugin and this one looks great, but i have a few issues, tried the documentation & forum, but can’t find an answer so hope you can help.

    On my test site: https://previewmywebsite.co.uk/ on the home page the car listings are right at the top, i have not put them there, this is just where they have appeared, but when i add the listing shortcode (which is under the New Inventory heading) it shows when i am editing the page, but when i save the page it does not show here, but at the top of the page, cannot see what i a doing wrong, any help would be appreaciated.

    ps… i am using the DIVI theme… ??

  • Hi, that’s a menu, you can show/hide the homepage menu(pages) under appearance > menu option. You can create/add/remove page(s) from menu depends. Select the option at the bottom of the menu where would you like to show/hide menu.

    Hi, thank you for your reply, but you misunderstand, i do not mean where it says “Listing” on the menu, i am aware of this. On the home page, just under the menu is the listings and search box, i have not put any shortcode here at all, but this is where the listings appear. Instead, i put the shortcode to display the listings further down the page, under the section header “New Inventory”, but as you can see, the listings are not there, they are being displayed right at the top of the homepage, under the menu.

    In the backend when editing the page, the listings are showing up exactly where i place the shortcode, when once i save the page, the listings are displayed right at the top, under the menu, i wonder if this is just a theme compatability issue?
