• Despite the fact that I disabled “automatic paragraphs” already, no shortcode seems to work in the main HTML field. Any ideas what would cause this effect? I can see the shortcode class in the element browser but (in this case) the timer simply doesn’t show up. I tried it with various timer plugins and they all do work on other pages page.
    Thx for your help.

    Cheers, Timo

Hi Timo, that’s weird. What kind of shortcode are you using?

Well, in this case I worked with the “Countdown Timer Ultimate” but I tried several timers with shortcuts and all of them did not work on the “coming soon” page … but always on my standard elementor pages …

They probably require some JavaScript, if that’s a case, you should insert them in cmp head or footer under CMP advanced > Scripts.

Why don’t you use our integrated counter? – It is available in Countdown free theme.

Despite the fact that our counter seems to work … I can’t configure it as required. It is stuck between the headline (not configurable via HTML) and the HTML content. I’m sure I can tweak it via CSS but it it’s still the wrong and not configurable position … By using an external counter I should be able to place the shortcods anywhere in my HTML area and easily configure the look and feel of the counter …

    OK, fair enough.

3rd party counters surely requires requires some JavaScript, you should insert them in cmp head or footer under CMP Advanced > Misc > Custom External Scripts or into the content together with the shortcode.
