Shortcode now showing correct appearance

With respect to your question here, if you want to have a similar display within the page, I would suggest adding the following CSS code within the Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS section:

.simcal-calendar.simcal-default-calendar.simcal-default-calendar-grid.simcal-default-calendar-dark {
    background-color: #000;
    color: #fff;
}
