• I’m using this shortcode and instead of getting 3 slides I get 4

    [slider extra_options=”infiniteLoop: true”]
This is my first slide. I can contain any html you like.
    [next-slide]
And the shortcode above has made this text be the second slider.
    [next-slide]
And thus we are now having the third slide of this slider. Below we close the initial shortcode to notify the end of the slider. Simple, isn’t it?
    [/slider]

What can I do to prevent the blank slide?

  • I don’t have this on my test site. Maybe you can try to add paragraph tags (<p>) around your texts.

It could also be a conflict with another plugin or your theme. Try to disable plugins and switch to a default theme to see if that works.

    Yep I’m getting this too.
Looks like wp is putting an empty <p></p> in..

Got it working, but it does not appear to work in all themes though.

Still a great plugin! cheers dude.

May be some “wp_autop” black magic ??

I have the same issue and adding <p> tag sdoes not seem to fix it.

have you tried switching to the raw editor instead of the visual editor? Then delete all blank lines and see if that works.

I always use the raw editor.

    There is two instances:
It comes up using gallery or bxgallery.

This part comes up after my regular gallery imgs<p style="float: left; list-style: none; position: relative; width: 1263px;"></p>
This is the clone: <p style="float: left; list-style: none; position: relative; width: 1263px;" class="bx-clone"></p>

    I have something alike,

    Two exactly the same sliders:
    [slider extra_options="infiniteLoop: true, slideWidth: 100, minSlides: 1, maxSlides: 4, moveSlides: 1, slideMargin: 0, infiniteLoop: true, slideMargin: 4"] ... etc

    One inside a widget and one inside the document;

Why is the one in the widget behaving badly?
