Shortcode search_fields not working

  • When I use the the shortcode on its own it works.

    [pdb_list search=true suppress=true]

    When I add this short code on the same page both works.

    [pdb_list search=true suppress=true]

    [pdb_search search_fields=IDNUMBER]

    Example search ID 720828:
    https://database.trainyoucan.co.za/test/

    When I remove the first short code the Search by Field does not work.

    [pdb_search search_fields=IDNUMBER]

    Example search ID 720828
    https://database.trainyoucan.co.za/test2

    It is a new wordpress installation, tried different themes and not sure if it is an error on my side or a bug.

    So, what exactly do you mean when you say it doesn’t work? I’m testing this here and I don’t see a problem.

    It may not be related, but field names are all lowercase, check the Manage Database Fields page to see what the field names are, you can’t use field titles in shortcodes, it has to be the name of the field.
