Shortcode shows in black speech bubble when hovering over menu item

I am using the plugin to show a shopping cart as a menu item. When I hover over the menu item, a black speech bubble containing the shortcode text appears above the menu item. I cannot find the CSS element that produces this effect. Do you know how I can disable it?
