    Hello,

I am testing out the free version of your plugin on this page with a view to purchasing the multisite licence if I can get these couple of niggles ironed out first.

FYI, I am using it in conjunction with Beaver Builder (a page builder) tabs module here, 4 PDFs per tab.

I have reduced the width of the PDFs to 250px in the global settings and by the size of the container there is ample room to fit 2 PDFs side by side, but it drops to the next line.

Is there something I can add to the shortcode or perhaps some other method to force the PDFs to be 2 per line?

Separately, the toolbar seems to show on top of my sticky section of the header when the page is scrolled, how can this be prevented?

I look forward to your reply.
    Many thanks

  • Hi dreubens81,

We have a tutorial available on how to wrap content around the embedded viewer available here in our FAQ: https://wp-pdf.com/kb/wrapping-content-around-an-embedded-pdf/

The toolbar is intended to appear above other content to ensure that it remains available to the site user; however, if you don’t want this you will need to adjust the z-index values of the toolbar and/or your sticky header. We have a FAQ on the toolbar z-index here (although in your case, you’ll want to force your sticky header into a higher value): https://wp-pdf.com/kb/menu-bar-header-obscures-full-screen-pdf/

If you haven any further questions, please feel free to email our support team at [email protected] where they will be happy to help. We don’t always see the posts in the forums here to reply in a timely fashion.

    Hello,

Will not have a chance to try this until Thursday, i looked at the guide but i am not sure this is what i am after. As i want the 2nd pdf to sit to the right of the 1st pdf and the 4th pdf to site to the right of the 3rd pdf, 2 pdfs on each “line” By the looks of the css in the guide it will just float them all to the left, so i will end up with 4 pdfs all on arranged vertically?

    Hi Darryl,

Without the float property added in that tutorial, the text content would sit below the embedded PDF in a vertical orientation just like you are currently experiencing with your page. The float property allows subsequent content to flow around the media object so would allow the other embedded PDFs to pull up into a horizontal layout. Please see the following for more examples and explanation of the float property: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_class_float.asp
