Shortcode to show description on grid view

    Hello – Is there a shortcode available that will show the description, or the excerpt, on the event grid view, please?

    I have figured out how to do this with php, but I am wondering if you have a shortcode (because they are easier to document what has been done for our own records). Thank you.

    Addition: I’ve found a function defined for showing the excerpt, but not an associated shortcode (can’t find any related “add_shortcode” codes). Is there a shortcode I just haven’t found yet? Thank you!

    Thanks for writing to us.

    The shortcode that is present is to display the whole event in the grid view.

    There is no shortcode to display only a description or excerpt on the grid view.
