Shortcode tool in the text editor

When using the shortcodes “tool” (a little icon, looking like a crowd, at the right of the tool bar) to insert subscriber related shortcodes, the tool generates this: [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]. In other words the shortcode generated by the tool gets a space character before and after the “|” character separating the shortcode and the default value.

Those space characters disable the shortcode which is simply removed at rendering time. If you delete the superfluous spaces generated by the shortcodes tool, everything works fine.
