Shortcoder plugin breaks editor bar

I use the plugin “Shortcoder” which adds a button to the WordPress editor, making the WP-Markdown bar so it doesn’t show up while Shortcoder is enabled.
Is this something that could be patched in the WP-Markdown plugin?
