    Why isn’t it possible to display the widget with graphics as shortcodes?

    Because shortcodes are to be used as text, inside your posts and not used as part of your theme.

    I want to display it using a shortcode in my theme design-option and I don’t want do edit php files just for integrating it.

    Create your own shortcodes for it.
