  • Hi @claye,

    I’m afraid the current version does not support shortcodes in your PopUp, I will however recommend this to our development team. Keep an eye on the release notes for future versions.

    Hi I would also love to have this and add CF7. Here’s a blog post explaining how to do it with EasyFancy Box https://geektastical.com/2011/05/how-to-create-a-pop-up-wordpress-email-contact-form/

    I may have to use EasyFancy box.

    But if someone can tell me who to add the correct code as via the link above then I will stick with WP Popup. ??

    The above idea only works if you want a link to open in a light box. No auto popping.

    Another guy said https://goo.gl/jg4bC:

    just use any plugin then enter this code with your shortcode.

    <?php echo do_shortcode( [your-short-code-here] ) ?>

    That sounds simple if it works. But where do add this code?

    I think to run PHP code in the popup you would need a plugin like PHPExec. Otherwise you would need to edit your theme to insert the code where you want it to appear, and some kind of conditional check to make sure it only triggers when you want it to.

    I think the PHP code suggestion was intended to be added to the plugin script. I may be wrong, but that’s how I read it. It would have to be added where the plugin is rendering HTML, if that’s what it does. Kinda depends on the plugin. FWIW

    Yeah it looks like you’re right, thanks ??

    I was able to use a shortcode with no issues.

    If you want to use a shortcode in the Pop-up go to Popovers>Settings> “Pop Over loaded using”–> Select Page Footer.

    This got them working for me. Works great to rotate ads when people land on the page! https://www.recipehearth.com
