shortcodes and sorting errors in latest version

I’ve seen several topics discussing shortcode errors with the latest updates. Add me to the list. Maybe the info below from Query Monitor will help track down the errors.

Basically, I have two [products] shortcodes on the home page and two product widgets in the sidebar (sale items and recently viewed items). With the shortcodes in place, the shortcode output looks fine but my widgets disappear, and these errors arise.

When I remove the shortcodes, the widgets appear as they should and the errors do not occur.

At a glance it has something to do with ordering by meta values, possibly something to do with the Product Bundles plugin.
