Most often problems like this arise because the user’s import file isn’t encoded in UTF-8. We’ve also seen issues with shortcodes that need an closing shortcode, like this:

    [shortcode]content[/shortcode]

What exactly are you trying to import? Are you sure that your import file is encoded as UTF-8?

You can read more about character encoding here: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/advanced/encoding/

Yes, the problem is not on the file, but on the template.

But I fixed it with a backslash before the opening caret of the shortcode and for some reason your plugin accepted the code and worked.

    Thanks
