Shortcodes Appearing as Plain Text on Desktop and Mobile

  • I see the codes as plain text wherever I use them. They used to be visible on desktop, but even that is not happening now. Can someone please help me here?

    Hi @nairspecht,

    If you’re using the Block Editor, make sure you’re using the shortcode block. If you are, make sure that the shortcode you’re using (archives) is actually registered.

    Davis doesn’t interact directly with shortcode functionality besides calling the_content(), the core WordPress function which parses the content and outputs shortcodes, so it’s likely not a theme specific problem. You can try switching to a different theme (like Twenty Twenty or Twenty Twenty-One) to confirm.
