Shortcodes in Advertisement Settings

are you using ‘shortcoder’ wp plugin? if yes check the link frank8265 suggested.

I am using Simple Ads manager which comes with shortcodes to place Ads https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-ads-manager/

it should work with all shortcode plugin. check this step:

1. are you using the ‘ad right widget’? you need to drag the widget item into right sidebar if you’re using widgets.

2. check if you’re using old template in child theme if you’re on child theme. later version 1.6+ have do_shortcode() for the theme option ad setting.

also try clear site or db cache, after saved theme option.

I added shortcodes to a page and they show https://myschoolstuff.co.za/simple-ads-shortcode/

I’m assuming these same shortcodes should works if pasted in to the advert places listed on the “General” tab on the “Theme Options” page?

I have cleared the cache without success.

i didn’t see the right sidebar ad widget in right sidebar now. did you drag them in wp-admin->widgets->left item ad right-> into right sidebar widget?

* I’m not using widgets. The Ads Plugin comes with shortcodes to place the widget anywhere where widgets can be placed. Ad still does not show.

This is done, and the advert does show on the right. Now to get the advert to show in the Banner position at the top of the page.

the top should be working if you enter the shortcode in theme option->ad setting->top header
