    I use shortcodes in product category description to render some WPBakery stuff on frontend.

    But they do not work for meta data so when inspecting the source of website it looks like this:

    <meta name="description" content="[category-content id=&quot;629&quot;]"/>
    <meta property="og:description" content="[category-content id=&quot;629&quot;]" />
    <meta name="twitter:description" content="[category-content id=&quot;629&quot;]" />

    How to fix?

    Thanks.

  • Hi @jowo

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Just to be sure we are on the same page, can you please share a screenshot where you add these meta codes on your site as well as the output so that we could check this further?

    Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly, can you please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.
