“[psppno_post content]” shortcode "shows the content of the post. This option may be messy because of the code produced by some page-builders."

will checking shortcodes in “Post types to show” result in shortcodes in content being processed? or are shortcodes never expanded?

    Hi @airdrummer

Sorry, could you please elaborate more about your questions?

    Thanks,

thanx 4 ur prompt reply! i meant to say…

the shortcodes in the post are not processed/expanded, so instead of the shortcode-generated content, only the [shortcode]...[/shortcode] appears in the email.

is it possible, via filter perhaps, to process/expand shortcodes in email?

Can you share some screenshot on how it looks on your site? Because on my testing, the shortcode rendered just fine

sorry, i shoud have been explicit…your shortcodes in the email notification:

    <a href="[psppno_post permalink]">[psppno_post title]</a>
    [psppno_post content]

of course work perfectly, but any shortcodes in the content itself are not processed:

    Please
    [wpmem_logged_out]
    log in for contact info...
    [/wpmem_logged_out]
    [wpmem_logged_in]
    contact ...
    [/wpmem_logged_in]

perhaps your notification body content can be piped thru wp’s do_shortcode()
