I’m not sure what might be happening. Have you tried troubleshooting your plugins and theme? That will tell you if and where there is any conflict, so you can take action to resolve, etc.

Well, the only conflict is between theme switcha and something else, since everything else works fine otherwise. But on my live site, I can’t disable other plugins, so I guess I’m out of luck. I understand this kind of plugin must be difficult to provide and can’t work in all cases; thanks for trying.

Not at all, it’s totally possible to test a live site. The safest way of doing so is to duplicate the site elsewhere, either locally or somewhere private online. Then you can carry out some basic testing without disturbing any regular visitors, etc. It’s also possible to put your live site into maintenance mode while testing, if preferred.
