I’m using Tabs Responsive on two websites. On one website it works fine. On the other (with almost identical plugins), slideshows using iThemes DisplayBuddy Rotating Images will not show on 2nd, 3rd, or 4th tabs – only on the first tab.

I can add a shortcode (from the DisplayBuddy plugin) to the first tab of a page and it works fine. But I can’t add a shortcode to 2nd, 3rd, or any other tabs on that page, they don’t display. I also use the Tablepress plugin and that generates shortcodes which display just fine on any of the tabs.

I’m not running Rocket Loader. I am using an iThemes Builder child theme, and have other plugins. Deactivated them one by one and the issue didn’t change, so the only plugin that could be causing the conflict is the iThemes DisplayBuddy Rotating Images plugin which I need to have to use slideshows.

Oddly enough, when I use the inspect mode on a tab, the slideshow appears until I navigate to another tab or page and back again. So I know the shortcode is correctly placed in Tabs Responsive.

The site where it works fine is https://lewmontessori.school
The site where it doesn’t work is https://2018.countrydaymontessorischool.com (see the Programs page tabs).

    Can you please help?

    Hi @gardnerc,

It’s confliction with your other plugin css/js so please deactivate all other plugin one by one and check it which one is conflict.

    Thanks

Thanks Deepak, but I already did that. The only plugin that affects anything is the slideshow plugin that I need to use (iThemes’ DisplayBuddy). DisplayBuddy works fine on a near-identical site (https://lewmontessori.school) with your plugin, but doesn’t on https://2018.countrydaymontessorischool.com with the same set of plugins.

The DisplayBuddy plugin is called Rotating Images and is from iThemes.com. The theme is called Builder, and the child theme is called Expansion (both also from iThemes.com). These are premium plugins (not free), so there is no download link (you have have an active subscription to download it). Do you have a way for me to send the plugin files to you?

Thanks, I sent you the files. As an update, I found a setting that seems to be causing the issue: On the Rotating Images settings, there’s a checkbox for making the slideshow responsive. I had this checked and the slideshows (2nd, 3rd and subsequent tabs) wouldn’t show). When I unchecked this setting, the slideshows now appear.

So I’ve solved the immediate problem. I should note that with this setting turned off, the slideshows don’t appear on smartphone screens until you scroll down and back up again (tested on iPhone/Safari and iPhone/Chrome). So clearly something is still amiss. On desktop, the page looks correct (slideshow showing up when you go to the tab).

    Hi @gardnerc ,

I have tested on all devices. Now it’s working well.

    Thanks
