Shortcodes not displaying since latest update

  • Hello!

    The plugin is great, but since the 5.1 update the shortcodes are not showing up on some of our site, there might be some conflict issue. I have rolled back to the earlier version, do you have some update on this please?

    Sorry for the late reply.

    Could you please give more information on what is not working ?
    “Not showing” sounds very vague.

    Any screenshots will be really helpful.

    I’ve noticed my codes haven’t been visible because I had used [sc:Untitled]. Apparently now you have to use [sc name=“Untitled” ].

    Hi @djchase,

    Yes, the support for [sc:hello] has been deprecated since couple of months ago.

    Till v4 backward compatibility was added to support this and v5+ the support is removed.

    Please continue with the [sc name=”hello”] format is the the native format recommended by WordPress. The older format was expensive to parse out, has unnecssary code logic and less/no people were following it.

    I apologize for any inconvenience caused with this move.
    Please continue with the new format and change the old shortcodes whenever possible.
