Shortcodes not working

    I just installed The Events Calendar on to my site, which is using the Bento theme (https://satoristudio.net/bento-free-wordpress-theme/).

    I’m trying to use the shortcodes, and single event embed functionality on the site, but it doesn’t seem to be working.
    I’ve tried using the shortcode in a post and in a text widget – no love.
    Additionally, copying the URL of the event into the text widget just displays the URL text, rather than embedding the event details.

    Any tips on what I’m doing wrong? (I’m certain it’s my error – I just can’t figure out what I’ve messed up…)

    Also, is there a way to get the ‘upcoming events’ list to display thumbnail images?

    What shortcodes are you trying to use? The Events Calendar doesn’t include any out of the box, so that might be where some of the confusion is. Let m know and I’d be happy to take a look.
