Shortcodes not working

I’m trying to add posts to a page but twenty fourteen doesn’t seem to accept my shortcode. I’m simply trying to display the posts from a category on a page using the shortcode from the codex:

[display-posts category=”youtube” posts_per_page=”20″]

Any ideas why this doesn’t work?
