Does anyone have the same issue?

  • taswordpress said Brag Themes are working on a fix

That user has nothing to do with WordPress core development or www.ads-software.com. In fact, I have just changed his username to remove the reference to “wordpress” as we do not allow that in usernames as it causes confusion.

If thee is an issue with a specific theme, then you need to contact the theme developers directly. Via their web site if the theme is not hosted on www.ads-software.com.

Yes. I know he did. Perhaps I need to simplify my question for you.

Does anyone know what external URL there is more information on the Brag Themes fix.

I specify external as I am fully aware that said issue is not a WordPress core issue.

This is simply a case of me as a wordpress developer, reaching out to the wordpress community. Is this allowed?

I am happy to contact the theme developers, but as there was a thread here already I thought I would ask if anyone knew where on the internet this information might already exist.

I am happy to contact the theme developers

Then please do so. You should also be aware that there are many potential site specific issues that could cause this problem. Either way, you really need to post your own topic.

My apologies for using the forbidden ‘wordpress’ suffix on my user name ( I was “taswordpress” until very recently ).
Regarding Brag themes, they have emailed people who have purchased the Strapress theme and provided a new plugin with up-dated shortcode code for the latest version of WordPress. I am not aware they have published any information on their public site but if you are prepared to log onto the support area you will see a ticket with discussion regarding the problem. I just tried to find the specific url at https://bragthemes.com/ to post here but their site was suer slow so I gave up.

Really there was nothing much there – just that the shorcodes plugin which comes with Strapress would not work with the latest version of the tinymce editor, and now the problem is fixed. If you have a receipt for purchase of Strapress theme or are registered as a buyer they will send you the revised plugin.

I was in error saying its a theme problem – its a bootrtrap shortcode plugin that comes the theme.

    Thanks Taswordpress – That’s all I needed.
