    It got your mail, but my mailserver is down currently. Can’t reply now.

    I did a test with the actual theme with these shortcodes

    Old Shortcode

    [nggallery id=16]

    NextGEN Basic Thumbnail Gallery

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”16″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails”]

    NextGEN Basic Slideshow Gallery

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”16″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow”]

    NextGEN Basic Image Browser Gallery Gallery

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”16″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_imagebrowser”]

    NextGEN Basic SinglePic

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”16″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_singlepic”]

    NextGEN Basic Tag Cloud

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”16″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_tagcloud”]

    Please look here https://www.teilzeithelden.de/2012/05/06/rpc-2012-der-bericht/

    There are a lot of error messages at the start of the article. does this give you a hint, what’s going wrong?

    array(1) { [“display_type”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(20) “Invalid display type” } } array(1) { [“display_type”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(20) “Invalid display type” } } array(1) { [“display_type”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(20) “Invalid display type” } } array(1) { [“display_type”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(20) “Invalid display type” } } array(1) { [“display_type”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(20) “Invalid display type” } }

    According to a plugin check, there an incompatibility with a plugin or the theme. But – it worked with versions prior to v2.014.

    @RogerLwein2011 – The dropbox image you provided to show your ATP … the ATP does not have any background, at least by default it is a white background that is nothing at all like what you are seeing unless you applied some Custom CSS to get that effect.

    How long has the ATP been looking like that?

    – Cais.

    Hi,

    @rogerlewin2011:
    the error you wrote above is: array(1) { [“display_type”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(20) “Invalid display type” } } array(1) {

    I had the same today. Easy fix for me: go back into the post and manually enter the double-quotes! When copy&pasting content from other web-pages that may show unicode characters, the actual double-quote character may end up wrong, although it looks right on your screen.

    Just go back into the editor and manually overtype just the double-quotes… this fixed it for me.

    Hope that helps,
    Herbert

    Yes, we have our theme childed and the background pic is due to an “important!” in the child css. I normally don’t use the ATP but only direct shortcodes. So i can’t say since when it looks like this.

    @herbert: I normally enter shortcodes directly in the html source code. So i did here, but i entered the double quotes again. same error, sorry. Even single quotes don’t work.

    I think, i have to downgrade to 1.9.13 :-/

    I have big problems on my site. After a update there are no images only code who starts with:

    class="ngg-galleryoverview"
    id="ngg-gallery-1852313a9fd430e7fabe0e43ec7e2391-1">

    @RogerLwein2011 – Did you submit a Bug Report for this issue? It appears you have done a great deal of troubleshooting for this to no avail and we would like to help get this sorted out.

    Go to this page: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/

    Please provide the details specific to your issue and we would also greatly appreciate if you could share log in credentials for your WordPress installation so our Support Team / Developers can get a closer look at this.

    @paul – That looks like some sort of conflict with the code being corrupted when the output is rendered. Have you checked for plugin conflicts and / or a theme conflict? Are you using shortcodes as the OP is referencing? Feel free to submit a Bug Report, too, if you have checked all these things and do not find a conflict.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
