Shortcodes on sidebar not working after last WP upgrade

I had a video on my sidebar using the Youtube shortcode, but ever since this last WordPress upgrade, it doesn’t work anymore, and shows the code instead of the video. Shortcodes on posts are working just fine. Any idea what might be the issue?
