Shortcodes or php in email article custom view (for ACF fields)

    Hi,
    I am trying to customize the article custom view of the email template and would like it to include some ACF custom fields that are attached to my posts. Is this possible? The shortcodes like [custom-shortcode] are not being processed, neither is php code.
