• I am receiving this theme error where I have any links to the portfolio –

Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/customer/www/thorncarpentry.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/construct/shortcodes.php on line 315

Please can you tell me how to fix this? It appears to be a theme error and I don’t think I have received a theme update since purchased this over a year a go now.

Hi @abhikr781 – I am not using elementor this theme is built with visual composer but seems to have switched WP Bakery. I’m not able to paste a screenshot of where I am seeing it

    Hello,

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing the snapshots.

For troubleshooting, please do the following steps and check if it is working well or getting the same issue.

1- Head over to WP Dashboard > Plugin.
    2- Deactivate all plugins.
3- Then, first activate the Ocean Extra.
    4- Check your issue.
5- Then, activate your plugins one by one
6- After activation of any plugins, check your issue

Note: if you have a cache plugin or server cache. You need to clear its cache contents or disable them.

Thank you for the instructions but Ocen Extra is not a plugin I have installed. It wasn’t part of the theme when I purchased it and no where in the documentation does it recommend downloading it

    Hello,

I apologize but it always shows you in the recommended plugin list.

If you are a pro user, please follow the post.

Did you get any victim plugins for the issue?

    (@arlenefoy1)

Unfortunately, it doesn’t always as it is not suggested as a recommended plugin in the documentation I received with the theme download nor was it part of the plugins that came with the theme download.

I can’t seem to find the issue. The payment for support has ended on my purchase so I cannot submit a ticket and I will not pay for it again as this appears to be a theme issue. The theme creators said they are looking into this for me but it’s been weeks now so I’m not very hopeful!

    I apologize for the trouble.

Would you be so kind and go to Elementor > System Info and share the report with us so that we can take a look?

Hi – I have appeared to fix the issue myself. Also, I do not use Elementor the theme I installed uses WP Bakery.

However, something else that has come to my attention is the new them panel that has been announced by OceanWP. My plugin and theme sections are asking me to update this but there doesn’t appear to be any updates. I’ve also noticed that a lot of the OceanWP plugins I have as part of the them are 1.0 versions when 2.0 versions are available. Not quite sure why this is or if the them is just lacking the updates.

This warning is also now appearing – Warning: Use of undefined constant OCEANWP_THEME_VERSION – assumed ‘OCEANWP_THEME_VERSION’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/customer/www/thorncarpentry.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ocean-extra/ocean-extra.php on line 647

Any help on understanding what OceanWP are doing would be great!

    Hello,

    I apologize for the trouble.

Please let us know what PHP version you’re currently using?

I have already forwarded this issue to our team for investigation and the issue with be fixed in the next updates.

This issue is related to the PHP version, and it’ll be fixed soon. If you cannot access to WP admin page, you can use the FTP and delete Ocean Extra plugin from this directory: /wp-content/plugins/
Now the wp-admin page should be available, login to the site and make sure the OceanWP theme is activated and it’s in the latest version. Then install the Ocean Extra plugin.

You can access to developer version of the theme and plugin from the following link:
