• Hello,

I want to start using shortcodes in my blog and I see there are a lot of free shortcodes plugins. I have just installed J-Shortcodes version: 1.405 and I though I was going to have a shortcode menu or button in my post area with a drop-down list with all the possible shortcodes, etc. Instead, I need to add all the shortcodes code by hand into each post. This is not exactly what I want as I am not very good with programing.

Can anyone recommend a shortcode plugin that is easy to use and does not require adding the code manually into the post?

    Thanks for your help!

    MK

Hello everyone! I just found what I was looking for. Just in case anyone is looking for the same, I have researched all the shortcode plugins and this seems to be the easiest to use https://www.shortcodekid.com/ (no code knowledge needed at all!)

That plugin is a scam. The website is now down, and he has taken down his email address also. The guy was called Matt.

I bought the plugin, which failed to even install without errors, Matt failed to get in touch with me after I let him know, then failed to give me a refund (regardless the guaranteed money back stuff on his website), claiming that I needed to get in touch with clickbank for a refund.

Lesson is this, buy from a recognised source such as codecanyon.

And if you know who this guy is, please let me know.

I finally bought it finally and it works fine. However, I tied to contact him twice about a customization and he never responded my emails. Lesson learned now.

    Hi Guys,

Good news. This site is under new ownership by someone who cares about you.

I am so sorry to hear of all the issues you are all having with the plugin. I just purchased the Shortcodekid.com website and plugin from Matt via Flippa 13 days ago. This is not the feedback I was hoping for, but I will do everything to make this right for you.

I want to invite you to email me directly at [email protected] if you have any questions or problems.

I assure you this plugin is not a scam, nor will people be taken advantage of. There is a 60 day money back guarantee via Clickbank. I know one poster above has already taken action on this, and quite frankly I don’t blame him. I’d do the same thing if the software did not work and no one would help me out.

In fact, I will even offer to give out 5 copies to the next 5 people who request it by sending me an email at the address above. All I ask is for your feedback, if you have any questions or troubles with the plugin. I want this to work as much as you do ??

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience you may have had with this product and I hope you will be willing to give it another try.

In addition, I also am the creator of AlohaThemes.com so I am very invested in my customers’ satisfaction. Please contact me directly if you need assistance.

    Take care – Scott

Just wanted to post an update to the above post. The free copy offer has expired. Sorry.

Yes it was very frustrating and disappointing not to find any support or response to my emails after I bought shortcodekid.com

However, the plugin is not under new ownership and the new owner has been extremely helpful and supportive. He has written to me several times asking me about the issues I had and he has kept me updated of all the improvements.

shortcodekid.com is not a scam and I can highly recommend it now.

I made a typo on my previous post. I mean to say that “… the plugin is NOW under new ownership and the new owner has been extremely helpful…”
