• Hello,

I am using the Hestia WordPress theme. I’m not sure if it’s a theme problem. I am using the Shortcodes plug-in. I have been using the shortcodes plugin for 2 months successfully. However, now when I add shortcodes (Whether from this plugin or from other plugins), sometimes the content in the shortcode changes fonts. But, this has not been happening all of the time. I’ve tried just adding the shortcode out of context with no content and moving it myself to where I want the effects to happen. This works sometimes, but others not, and I don’t know why. I have tried googling this and can’t find anyone else with the same problem.

    Thank you.

The font used depends on your theme’s CSS, where the shortcode is placed, and what the shortcode actually outputs. There are too many variables to explain a specific behavior without a live page link that demonstrates the undesired behavior. You can investigate for yourself by using your browser’s element inspector developer tool. It has an element picker tool where you can select the problem content and the tool will show you the relevant HTML and applicable CSS rules. With this information, the cause of the behavior should be evident.
