Shortcodes suddenly stopped working

    Recently I had to deactivate and activate Jetpack. After that all jetpack shortcodes stopped working.

    Here is a link, where I used shortcode.

    Could you check what was the issue?

  • It looks like your shortcodes module wasn’t re-activated when you reconnected Jetpack. Can you click on “Jetpack” from your dashboard and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Debug’. On the next page, you’ll see a link for ‘Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site.’ – you can then activate the shortcodes module from there.

    I just followed your method. But I am getting an error module activation failed.

    Is this error occurring only for the shortcodes module? Could you try toggling some other modules in that list? If the error still occurs, could you please try temporarily disabling any caching plugins (specifically w3 total cache) and then try to turn on the shortcodes module again?

    Yes. This error occurs only on Shortcodes.

    I was able to toggle and activate other modules.

    I tried deactivating W3 cache plugin, but still, nothing works.

    I just deactivated all plugins and then activated shortcodes. Now working fine.
