Shortcodes to display recent review on homepage

  • What short code do I use to:

    1. Display only recent review on homepage
    2. To pull all reviews to custom page
    3. To get books from same category in widget
    4. I am using Divi and want to customize the single review page, what shortcode do I use to pull the single to the customize page?

    Hello @pris15, I’ll answer you questions as you have listed them.

    1. Normally displaying the latest review ought to be handled by your theme. However, if you would like to do so you can try [rcno-reviews-grid]
    2. I do not have such a shortcode as this is something that ought to be handled by the theme and custom theme templates.
    3. This is not supported
    4. There is no such shortcode.

    For your second question, I do not understand, could you explain in more detail?

    Hi @w33zy thank you for the response.

    1. I use the Divi theme and can only display recent posts and projects inherent in WP, not reviews from your plugin. The shortcode you provide shows everything but not a recent review. Can I limit the number of reviews on the homepage when I use the shortcode provided?
    2. I can create a custom template, but I still need a code to pull the reviews from your plugin. I don’t know if it makes sense.

    Also, how did you get the recent review widget on your demo site https://recencio.com/?

    For the last question, I got it figured out in regards to the widget. But now I want know how to set up the currently reading book so it will actually show up in the widget. Please help. Thank you.
