Shortcodes with Visual Composer

  • Hello.

    I am trying to insert a Quick Buy button on a page where I want user to click it, and it will automatically check out a set product for a set price.

    I used the short code generator within the plugin settings and it gave me this:

    [wc_quick_buy_link product=”628″ label=”Payment step” qty=”1″ qty=”button”]

    It seems that “qty” is mentioned twice. Maybe it should be “type”? This is what the generator gives me.

    I then go to Visual Composer and I click on short code mapping and I add this short code. I have tried both qty and type but still, when I insert the short code, nothing appears in the page? Am I missing a step?

    Within Visual Composer there is option to use Sweetly button. I just wish there is a way to make that the button for the quick buy but it is not clear how to do it.

    I even tried text block, and inserting the short code that way but still nothing appears. Please help, thanks.

    the shortcode should be like below

    [wc_quick_buy_link product="628" label="Payment step" qty="1" type="button"]

    Hi, I’m having this same problem.

    Not the error in the shortcode generator but the fact that the button doesn’t appear in my posts.

    Like the OP, I’m using Visual Composer and when I insert the [wc_quick_buy_link] into the text block of VC and publish, nothing appears.

    Any suggestions?

    I have not tested this plugin with Visual Composer.

    but i am looking for some one how can help us in testing with VC and fix the bugs.

    Can you provide a exact shortcode you have used ?

    Also using a theme with visual composer included and button not showing up at all.

    i think Varun is doing a good job in developing this useful tool.

    unfortunately, i’m one of those unskillful users who don’t know tech and am using simple steps to build my website.

    i am also facing the same problem of not able to show the quick buy button. After i insert this shortcode :

    [wc_quick_buy_link product=”3317″ label=”MettaBuy ” qty=”1″ type=”button”]

    i can see the “MettaBuy” text but no button. Has anyone solved this riddle yet?
