Shorten hyperlinks in IE 8

Hello Forum!

Currently I am using a theme called Greenleaf, with WP 3.3.1. When I view my site in IE 8 it seems that one hyperlink I have (which is very long) seems to go off the page and behind my side bar items. Yet, when I view the same page in Firefox it looks perfect, breaks to the next line just how I want it. What do I need to change so that IE 8 reads my site the same as Firefox?
