Shorten the width of footer (Magazine Basic)

    #footer {
    margin: 0 auto;
    max-width: 1200px;
    min-width: 320px;
}

    So thankful to you…its works perfectly. Now i see what mistake i was doing, i did not mentioned min-width but instead was using 

    #footer-content {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #333333;
    border-left: 2px solid #333333;
    border-right: 2px solid #333333;
    border-top: 1px solid #55A7B2;
