Shortlinks directing back to my old wordpress.com site

  • Hi everyone,

    I have recently moved my wordpress.com blog to bluehost, but I have been using shortlinks in my wordpress.com blog extensively, how do I make the shortlinks point to the pages in the new host, and not back to wordpress.com?

    I have transferred the my domain vandiary.com to bluehost as well.

  • Is the transfer finished? If you were just transferring the hosting by pointing name servers, they can take 1-72 hours across the Internet. If you are transferring the domain registration, that can take 3-7 days to finish.

    Yes, the shortlinks were working before, but then it started to direct back to my old wordpress.com blog. I had to purchase the redirect upgrade from wordpress.com to redirect all the shortlinks back to my site. Does this mean I have to manually change all the links back to permalinks?
