ShortPixel Certificate is invalid when images are optimized

Hey coreyleedesigns;
Does this only happen on Safari, or is it also reproducible in other browsers? And regarding Safari: what version of OSX and of Safari does this happen in?

I do see the certificate was generated today (Tue, 28 Dec 2021 00:38:40 UTC), but based a quick test on https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=sp-ao.shortpixel.ai there are no issues with the certificate for the OS/ OS version/ Safari versions used in the test (or other OS/ browser combinations except for an old Java version, an old Android version and IE8 on Windows XP);

any updates coreyleedesigns ?

Thanks for your prompt reply and investigation!

Actually we are still experiencing the issue – it’s Safari v8.0.8 with Mac OS Yosemite that was being tested.

In the console log it still says: “Failed to load resources: The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “sp-ao.shortpixel.ai” which could put your credential information at risk”

I’m testing the page using BrowserStack.

CAn the customer please:
1) check the IP address that it resolves to (sp-ao.shortpixel.ai I mean)
2) change the URL to cdn.shortpixel.ai and see if the problem persists?

to change the URL you can use this code snippet;
