ShortPixel to WP-Optimize migration
-
I’m currently using ShortPixel (which is great) and I’m in need of help to migrate and use WP-Optimize instead.
1. From what I see Wp-Optimize looks at the images that were reduced by ShortPixel and clicking on compressing it I fear it will compress already compressed images and not the original images (which are stored in a folder that ShortPixel created).
What’s the migration path to move from ShortPixel to WP-Optimize?
A step by step actions would be great to avoid running compression on already optimized images.2. How do I tell WP-Optimize to also compress thumbnails? ShortPixel have this option.
3. Didn’t see an option to tell WP-Optimize to “Optimize everything that wasn’t optimized before”. From the looks of it, I need to go image by image and do it..?
4. On SHortPixel when I’m in the media list view, I have a column saying how much the image was reduced. Can we have something like that as well? Any plans to have it?
Thanks you!
