Should I backup dynamic folders?

    I am revising my backup process, breaking it up into smaller jobs.
    I’ve noticed some, but not all, of my galleries contain a dynamic folder, because the backup jobs are throwing warnings about some file names in those dynamic folders.

    My question is, do I need to backup the dynamic folders?
    Will any necessary dynamic files be re-created if I have to use the backups to re-build my site?

    @edradour – Although safer to back up *all* files the dynamic folder images should be recreated if you restore without them although they may not be regenerated until the specific display, etc. is called again …
