• I am trying to develop a website that does just a few things but am starting to wonder if wordpress is the wrong route altogther or not.
I want each link in the nav bar to be a different page each with it’s own category that users can create posts that other users can rate and comment on.

I bought and have been tinkering with the ‘multi-rating-pro’ plugin and it can allow users to rate things. The problem seems to be the underlying purpose for wordpress and whether or not I can bend it to suit my needs or pay someone to.

Making the site be able to have users that post with the default format of the rating system embedded into their posts for example. Allowing user homepages that store their ratings and posts. Things like this seem a little out of the range of what wordpress is intended for, but is it completely not possible?

This has been a work in progress for a really long time- any advice is greatly appreciated. Website is https://www.survivalindex.ca for what it is worth.
