Should I change the font?

Give us a link so we can compare, personally I prefer Verdana above any comic font

Change is to Arial, or Verdana as you said.

While I hold nothing against Comic Sans it screams unprofessional, and as you mentioned it is a pain to read.

i second the WiBu comment with one comment: i hold something against comic sans. it’s useless, really!

https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=kill+comic+sans&btnG=Search gives 542,000 results in Google. It’s probably the most-hated font on the net, and will have people backing out of your site so fast they’ll get whiplash.

I prefer Trebuchet to any of the other sans-serif fonts. And contrariwise, Comic Sans has its place and uses (though not for a blog with long posts, or one for an adult).

I think my favourite font of all time is Palatino – it used to be very popular in printed books, but it doesn’t seem to be as popular now. I remember when books used to show the typeface details at the beginning – I really miss that.

Oh-oh, I’m wandering OT now, sorry! Thanks for all the input. But I’d better confess that I’ve left Comic Sans as the headings, for a bit of light relief. I only hope the Comic Sans Police don’t know where I live. ??
