Hi there, sorry for my stupidity…have never had to use a plugin to modify cron behavior before, but my client’s hosting plan doesn’t allow us to add in manual jobs via cPanel.

Typically, I’ve always disabled wp-cron.php by adding a code to the wp-config file, THEN add in the cron jobs. If I’m using this plugin instead, do I need to disable wp-crong or not? Assuming no, but wanted to check.

    Thank you!

Nope, if you disable wp-cron then your WordPress cron events won’t run, regardless of whether or not you have the WP Crontrol plugin activated (plus, WP Crontrol will warn you if this is the case).

Awesome, that’s what I figured but wanted to double check. Thanks for the speedy response!
