Should I put the category names in the permalinks for better seo ??

Hey…

I am wondering if it’s better to let the permalinks show the category names as well, before the post titles…

When I do this the total link becomes quite long and I’ve heard that that’s not so good …

Another question is, which links do the spiders follow when crawling ? The one in the address bar, which I can ‘style’ with slugs ?

I’ve seen a few blogs who use category names before their titles, but many also don’t, leaving me to wonder what the best choice is …
