    Hello,
I have recently been asked to rebuild a website that has over 800 members in its organization.

I want to know if you think your membership plugin will be able to mimic the styling of the current website while providing a detailed search function for users looking to search the membership database.

The website in question is cobbdoctors.com

Currently the member directory is built using Gravity Forms, custom fields and post types. I would like a plugin that would alleviate all of the extra work and maintenance that goes along with using those methods.

I need to be able to have a search function that sorts by name, zip code and practice area. Also, will need a form that prospective members would use to submit all of there credentials, education, address etc..

Is this plugin a valid option for what I am looking to do?

I look forward to your response!
    Mike

re: Should I use his Plugin

The best way to answer that, since Connections is free… install it and give it a try.

I checked the site you gave, i just get an apache message… but Connections uses templates to control the styling of the directory. Depending on how deep you want to get, you could create a template that matches your current site. There several pre made templates included and several premium templates available too each with their own distinct style.

re: I need to be able to have a search function that sorts by name, zip code and practice area.

The keyword search will search by name and zip code field. There is a more advanced search option available. As an example.

re: Also, will need a form that prospective members would use to submit all of there credentials, education, address etc..

There is the Form extension for allow site visitors to submit entries into the directory. If you need you registered users to be able to maintain their own entry, then you will need the Link extension too.

Hope that answers your questions thoroughly.
