Should I use home.php og archive.php

  • I am struggling to understand what to use to display a list of all the posts.
    I have read the codex on the different pages but still don’t get it.

    I want a page to display all my posts, but I would like to edit that page like any other page with blocks etc. That seems impossible with home.php?

    I would also like to have filters on that page so one could filter posts by category etc. Do I need to use the archive.php for that?

    Or should I use the search.php and hardcode a query for all the posts?
