I’ve been using your plugin for several months now and am really glad we decided on it. Lots of tools and features we have molded our use around.

One question I have is does the plugin still work if we switch our Flickr profile to private? A few years ago we were told the Flickr API would only work for public images. Is this still true?

I look forward to hearing from you!

    By me?

To the best of my knowledge there is no issue with Photonic handling private accounts. The only additional step you need to carry out is perform the authentication from Photonic → Authentication.

No. Per a now-defunct Joomla extension we used 7-8 years ago, it was written in the Flickr API Documentation.

While there may be some unique scenarios that might not work for private albums, I cannot recall cases where people had major issues. Also, Flickr’s API has supported authentication for at least 10 years now, and it has been a part of Photonic for quite a few years (7-8 years).
