Shoutbox Message notification

    We recently added your Simple Ajax Shoutbox plugin to our intranet site and had a question: Can you add some kind of notification every time a user leaves a comment in the shoutbox?

    For example, if I make a comment on the shoutbox can there be a notification telling me “your comment has been posted” or “posted successfully” ?

    We are running into the issue were our users are making duplicate posts because they don’t know if their comment was successfully posted.

    Implemented: after posting a new message, the spinner changes into tick icon and fades out.

    If you want to replace the tick mark by (any) text message, this can be done via CSS modification on the site (in the template CSS or using Custom CSS plugin). Due to that I do not plan to implement text for the confirmation right in this plugin.

    Will be included in the next release. You can eventually test on the development version now.
