    Hi there

Really nice and easy calendar shortcode.

Can I somehow only show one week ahead?

    [iCal currentweek=”true” url=”https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/……………..ics”]

Nope, now it shows nothing ??

Do you have the “C” capitalized in the code or is it autocorrected here? It should be all-lowercase.

Try using the Add iCal Calendar button in the editor to generate the code then edit as needed.

We are using the Gutenberg Editor, I don’t think there is a “button” to add the code.

This code works for the month view:

    [iCal https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/............./calendar.ics]

Hmm… do you have more than one iCal plugin installed? This shortcode is actually not the one for my plugin at all. Mine uses [ics_calendar …]. (I apologize for not catching this earlier… I was replying from my phone on those earlier responses.)

Nope – no other ics calendar, but now I am using your shortcode

    [ics_calendar currentweek="true" url="https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/.../calendar.ics" title="DISPLAY_TITLE" description="DISPLAY_DESCRIPTION"]

    Now it shows

    DISPLAY_TITLE
    DISPLAY_DESCRIPTION
    No events found.

But I am sure on the URL

Can you send me the actual feed URL to test? There’s a support email address on the admin page for the plugin. (Settings > ICS Calendar)

Closing this as we were able to resolve the problem via email.

For others’ reference, please note that the plugin currently requires the PHP configuration option allow_url_fopen to be turned on.

Because there are some slight security risks with this setting, many shared servers will have it turned off.

I am currently looking into changing the plugin to retrieve the ICS file by another method that doesn’t require this option.
