I created an event a while back and enabled the ability to show attendees. This worked at the time (~October). Now that we’ve emailed the link out to everyone to RSVP, that function no longer seems to work. When clicking “Show Attendees”, the index page of the blog is displayed (embedded below the button) instead.

This also happens with new events. AFACIT, the ajax_guest_lookup function doesn’t exist or isn’t being registered properly.

Is there any light you can shed on the problem for me?

    PHP 7.2
    WP 5.3
    RSVPMaker: 6.4.4

I was able to recreate this in the sandbox – https://sb.rsvpmaker.com/rsvpmaker/showing-attendees-2019-12-3/

I see the problem. Looking into it. Will aim to post a fix later today.

    Thanks, David!

Also having issues with “show attendee” after the update. Now when you click the show attendees button on the event it displays other pages of the site instead of who RSVP’d.

Try release 6.4.5 and let me know if you still see an issue.

Issue seems to be fixed in 6.4.8. I did have to go into the admin panel first though. Not sure if there was some caching going on. Thanks!

The issue seems to have resolved itself for me without having to revert to older version 6.4.5. I did nothing and today it was working again. Not sure what changed… but glad its working.

Same issue here after update to version 6.4.8

(Updating to PHP 7.4 and WordPress 5.3.1 doesn’t solve it.)

Reverting to version 6.4.3 solves the issue.

If I do upgrade back to version 6.4.8, the issue is back.
    So reproducable.

I think/hope/pray this is fixed in 6.4.9. After “fixing” it a couple of times previously, where I may have been fixing the wrong thing, I think I’ve tracked the issue to situations where “show attendees” has been set as a sitewide default rather than a parameter for the specific event. Now works either way.

Sorry it took me so long to get there.

Just updates from 6.4.3 to 6.5.3 and the issue is still/back there.

Show Attendees button still doesn’t work in version 7.3.3.

Button link is active but doesn’t seem to work.
Is there a solution for this?

This is preventing me to update to higher versions.

If you visit this demo event, you should see that clicking the Show Attendees button displays a list of names https://rsvpmaker.com/rsvpmaker/rsvpmaker-entrepreneur-of-the-year-dinner-2021-01-04/

The feature does require some Javascript / Ajax interaction, so if you don’t see it working on the demo page either there could be a browser compatibility issue I need to address. Otherwise, I’m wondering if there’s a conflict with another plugin or some other issue specific to your website that’s getting in the way of it working for you.

It works for me in the sandbox. So it isn’t an issue of my browsers.

So it is linked to the website itself.
Disabling all other plugins doesn’t solve the issue.

Strange thing is that it only stops working after an upgrade after 6.4.3

Is there something that has been changed in the plugin in that version that could cause that?

    Running on PHP 7.4.
Loveringg it to version 7.2 doesn’t make a difference.
