Show author avatar URL in RSS feed

  • I am building an RSS feed and I want to push the author’s avatar URL in the <image> item.
    I tried to play around with ‘get_avatar’ but that shows complete HTML code whilst I only want the URL.
    Is there an easy way to display the URL to the author’s avatar?
